Job Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients, performing physical exams and reviewing medical histories meticulously
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions by interpreting imaging studies and lab results
• Collaborate closely with surgeons to develop and implement tailored surgical treatment plans
• Provide intraoperative assistance, including preparing operating rooms, ensuring optimal patient positioning, and passing surgical instruments seamlessly during operations
• Deliver outstanding pre- and post-operative care, which includes medication management, wound care, discharge planning, and patient education

Educational Requirements

• A Master’s degree from a nationally accredited Physician Assistant program
• Preference for completion of clinical rotations with a focus on surgical practices

Licensure and Certification

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications are necessary
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
