• Work closely with radiologists and referring providers to ensure high-caliber diagnostic imaging
• Manage and perform upkeep on imaging equipment, with immediate reporting of any malfunctions
• Thoroughly document procedures and maintain patient records in the electronic medical system
• Remain informed about advancements in ultrasound imaging methodologies and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a closely related discipline
• Preferred completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred
