Your Responsibilities Include

• Providing education to patients and their families on topics such as prevention, health maintenance, and chronic illness management
• Prescribing medications and treatment regimens within your scope of practice

• Accurately documenting patient encounters in electronic medical records (EMR)

Education and Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree
• Graduated from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Necessary Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Georgia
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or an equivalent
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or willingness to obtain within 90 days)
