Job Description

• Craft Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess individual patient needs and design personalized therapy approaches to help them achieve their goals
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply research-driven strategies to enhance patients’ motor abilities, cognitive functions, and everyday skills
• Engage with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work hand-in-hand with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide holistic patient care
• Guide Patients and Caregivers: Educate patients and their families on effective therapy practices to encourage progress outside of therapy sessions
• Keep Track of Development: Monitor clinical outcomes and adjust therapy plans as necessary, ensuring patients stay on track

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited school
• Opportunities for continuing education or advanced certifications provided and encouraged

Certifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license required
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is essential
