Job Responsibilities

• Create Customized Treatment Plans: Assess patient needs and design tailored therapeutic strategies to help them reach their functional milestones
• Implement Therapeutic Interventions: Apply evidence-based practices to enhance motor skills, cognitive function, and everyday activities
• Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work alongside OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nurses to provide comprehensive and holistic care
• Educate Patients and Families: Teach patients and caregivers therapy strategies to facilitate ongoing progress outside the clinic
• Track and Record Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and modify treatment plans as necessary, ensuring patients stay on track

Educational Requirements

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited school
• Support for ongoing education and post-graduate certifications

Licensure

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license required
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification mandatory
