Acute IPCU Registered Nurse - Full Time
Night Shift - 3x12 schedule
Job Description:
MLee Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as an IPCU (Intensive Psychiatric Care Unit) Night Shift Nurse. As an IPCU Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing specialized care to patients with acute psychiatric conditions during the night shift.
IPCU RN Responsibilities:
- Assessing and monitoring patients' mental health status throughout the night.
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Implementing and maintaining a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Providing therapeutic interventions and crisis management as needed.
- Documenting patient care and progress accurately and timely.
Requirements for a Registered Nurse:
- Valid RN (Registered Nurse) license.
- Minimum 1 years of experience in psychiatric nursing preferred.
- Strong knowledge of psychiatric disorders, treatments, and medications.
- Ability to remain calm and focused in high-stress situations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to work night shifts and weekends as needed.
- CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) certification preferred.
