Core Responsibilities

• Conduct diverse ultrasound examinations, encompassing abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during procedures, clearly explaining each step with empathy
• Engage cooperatively with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure the production of quality diagnostic images
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, reporting any issues immediately
• Document all procedures accurately and maintain up-to-date patient records within the electronic medical record system
• Commit to staying updated on advancements in ultrasound imaging technology and techniques

Educational Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Certification from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is a plus
