Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, including physical examinations and in-depth reviews of medical backgrounds
• Assist in diagnosing surgical issues by analyzing imaging studies and laboratory results
• Work synergistically with surgeons to develop and implement personalized surgical treatment strategies
• Provide essential intraoperative support, including preparing surgical spaces, ensuring proper patient positioning, and adeptly passing instruments during procedures
• Offer outstanding pre-and post-operative care, which includes medication management, wound care, discharge preparations, and patient education

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations with a surgical emphasis is highly preferred

Certifications

• Active and unrestricted PA-C certification
• Necessary certifications in BLS and ACLS
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant

Skills
