Surgical Technologist

We’re looking for a skilled and dedicated Surgical Technologist to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing the operating room, maintaining a sterile environment, and supporting the surgical team during procedures. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare the operating room by ensuring all instruments, supplies, and equipment are sterile and ready for use
- Maintain a sterile field throughout the procedure
- Assist surgeons and other surgical staff by passing instruments and supplies during surgery
- Ensure accurate counts of instruments and materials before, during, and after surgeries
- Assist in patient positioning and prepping them for surgery
- Clean and restock the operating room after each procedure
- Follow established infection control practices to ensure a safe environment
- Document patient information and surgical counts as needed
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology program
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred
- Current BLS certification required
- Strong knowledge of surgical instruments, aseptic techniques, and operating room procedures
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
