Rooted in Tradition, Powered by Care – A Sonography Opportunity in the Heart of Central Texas
There’s a quiet strength to life in Carbon—a place where heritage runs deep, the community stands tall, and independence is more than a mindset—it’s a way of life. Surrounded by rolling ranchland and home to one of the state’s proudest rodeo traditions, this part of Central Texas celebrates hard work, hospitality, and the kind of values that never go out of style. If you're a Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist looking for a role that lets you practice with purpose in a town that feels like home, we’d love to meet you.
This full-time role comes with flexible shifts and a signing bonus, making it a great fit for someone who wants both professional growth and personal connection. You’ll perform a full spectrum of ultrasound exams—abdominal, OB/GYN, vascular, echocardiography, and small parts imaging—playing an essential role in the diagnostic process. Each image you capture helps guide a care plan, ease a patient’s mind, and ensure they feel seen and supported. It’s technical work, yes—but it’s also deeply human.
To join our team, you’ll need an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field, along with certification from ARDMS or ARRT-S and state licensure if required. One year of clinical experience is preferred, especially in a fast-paced hospital or care environment. But more than that, we’re looking for someone who knows how to create calm in a clinical setting—someone who brings professionalism and kindness into the room, every single time. If you’re someone who takes pride in your precision, thrives in teamwork, and loves helping people feel at ease, this is your kind of place.
And Carbon? It offers a lifestyle you just don’t find everywhere. With its rich Western roots, vibrant local university, and tight-knit neighborhoods, the town blends tradition and energy in a way that’s all its own. You’ll find fresh local produce at the farmers market, horses grazing just outside town, and a downtown that feels like something out of a storybook. And yet, it’s modern too—with strong schools, local events, and a community that supports its healthcare professionals like family.
We’re proud to be part of a care culture that values knowledge, empathy, and balance. Here, sonographers are seen as essential partners in the patient journey—not just technicians, but trusted teammates. We’ll support your growth, listen to your voice, and make sure you have what you need to thrive.
If you’re looking for a meaningful career in a place that’s both grounded and growing, this might be your next chapter. Come be part of something that feels real—and really matters.
