Registered Nurse / RN – Labor & Delivery – Night Shift

This full-time Registered Nurse position in Labor & Delivery offers the opportunity to provide expert care to mothers and newborns through labor, delivery, and post-partum recovery. Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing (BSN preferred)
- Active RN license in the State of Texas
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- NRP and Fetal Heart Monitoring course completion (required or must be obtained shortly after hire)
- Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery RN experience required
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to laboring, antepartum, postpartum, and cesarean-section patients
- Monitor maternal and fetal well-being throughout all stages of care
- Administer medications, including epidurals and oxytocin, and manage IVs
- Assist physicians with deliveries and emergency obstetric procedures
- Educate and support patients and families through the birthing process
- Accurately document all aspects of patient care and response to interventions
- Foster a calm, respectful, and collaborative environment to support patients, families, and the care team
Schedule:
- Full-Time Position
- Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Variable days of the week
